What is Personal Training?
Personal training is an ongoing partnership between you and your trainer. Together you will build a workout specifically designed around your schedule to fit your needs and accomplish your goals. Your trainer will be there every step of the way: During your workouts, giving you nutrition and diet advice, and helping you accomplish goals and challenge yourself.

Why do I need a Personal Trainer?
A trainer can drastically improve the fitness routine of even the most experienced exercise enthusiast. Personal trainers bring their knowledge and training in health and fitness, their passion for exercise and wellness, and a fresh perspective to your workout routine. They will act as motivators to help you reach your potential and spotters to ensure maximum effectiveness and safety while working out.

How do I get started?
The first step is to meet with a trainer. This is a no-obligation meeting where you will be asked a few general questions about your health and you can get to know your trainer and his/her philosophy. You can establish some goals and begin to plan out your exercise schedule and routine. From there, the trainer will design a personalized workout plan just for you that will help you reach your goals.

How much does it cost?
Cost of a single session is $15.00 for YMCA members, $15.00 for senior members, and $25.00 for non-members.
